On the night of July 22, Russia launched more than 40 UAVs, as well as decoy drones. Strikes were recorded in three locations, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine report.

During the attack, the drones were launched from the directions of:

  • Russia's Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
  • Temporarily occupied Chauda and Hvardiiske in Crimea.

As of 09:00 a.m. Kyiv time, according to Ukraine's Air Force, air defense units shot down and suppressed 26 enemy drones in the south and east of the country. Another 7 UAVs were lost from radar and suppressed by electronic warfare systems.

Due to the attack, the following was recorded:

  • hits by nine drones at three locations;
  • downed drones and debris fell at three locations.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has regularly used various types of missiles, artillery, guided aerial bombs, and UAVs against Ukraine. Civilian infrastructure is often targeted, posing an ongoing threat to ordinary citizens. The terrorists resort to drone attacks almost every night. For example, on the night of July 21, the enemy used 426 strike UAVs.
