Situation in the Sumy region

Earlier, we reported that, according to the Institute for the Study of War, Russian leader Vladimir Putin may be planning to seize the Sumy region to create a buffer zone.

At the same time, Ivan Tymochko, head of the Reserve Council of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, stated that Russian forces do not have the strength or resources for a large-scale offensive in the Sumy region. He noted that the enemy’s current activities remain at the level of strategic troop deployment.

Despite this, Russian forces continue to strike the region. Recently, the enemy launched a missile attack on a training ground in the Sumy region, resulting in casualties and injuries among Ukrainian soldiers.
