On the night of November 4, Russia attacked several regions of Ukraine, including energy facilities in the west of the country. In the Ternopil region, Russian drones struck an energy facility, and in Dnipro, two people were injured after a Russian strike on a business.

RBC-Ukraine reports on the known consequences of the Russian attacks.

Rivne region

Around 4 a.m. Kyiv time, explosions were heard in Rivne, and air defense systems were activated. According to Oleksandr Koval, head of the Rivne regional military administration, Russia attempted to target the energy sector.

As a result of the Russian attack in the Rivne district, a private home caught fire. No reports of casualties have been received.

Ternopil region

In the Ternopil district, Russian drones struck an energy infrastructure facility. All emergency services are on the scene, and efforts to address the aftermath of the Russian attack are underway.

Dnipro

Russian troops struck a facility in Dnipro. Two men, aged 38 and 57, sustained shrapnel wounds. They were hospitalized in moderate condition. A fire broke out at the facility.

On November 3, after an infrastructure facility was hit, most of Kovel was left without power, and the local water utility was forced to switch to backup power.

A difficult situation also arose in Kyiv. Due to damage to a regional power distribution center in Kyiv, emergency power outages were implemented, water supply disruptions began, and warming centers were opened in the hardest-hit areas. Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, described the situation as extremely difficult. In the evening, trams and trolleybuses stopped running in the city due to a lack of electricity.
