Russian troops attacked the Poltava region with drones on July 31, causing a fire, according to Volodymyr Kohut, head of the Poltava regional military administration.

"Ukrainian air defense forces were operating in the region at night. As a result of the fall of debris from a Russian drone in the Kremenchuk district, a fire broke out in a farm building," Kohut says.

According to the head of the Poltava regional military administration, a private house was damaged by the blast wave. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the fire has been extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Russian night strike on Ukraine on July 31

On the night of July 31, Russian troops launched another massive attack on Ukraine. This time, Kyiv was the main target of the combined Russian strike. Hits on residential buildings were recorded. Currently, several dozen people are known to have been wounded, and there are also casualties.

The Sviatoshinskyi and Solomianskyi districts were most affected by the Russian drone and missile strikes, and there is also damage in the Holosiivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.

As a result of the Russian strikes, several streets and avenues in the city have been blocked. Trolleybus route No. 27 has been rerouted to Domobudivnyi Kombinat No. 3.
