Russia strikes Ukraine's Odesa, damaging medical facility, school and residential buildings

On the night of September 24, Russian forces attacked Odesa, damaging the roof and part of the top floor of a medical facility. Windows were shattered in 10 nearby residential buildings and a school, according to the Odesa City Military Administration.

Utility workers have been on the scene since early this morning—the street has now been cleared, and window openings in the residential area have been sealed.
On-site, residents are being advised on compensation for damaged property under the state program eRecovery and the city program Unbreakable Odesa. Specialists are assisting with the necessary paperwork and explaining the next steps.
That same night, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on the aftermath of the Russian attack on Kyiv—two people were killed, and at least eight were injured as a result of the Russian strike on Kyiv.
In addition, earlier this week, Russia attacked the Silpo distribution center in Odesa—on the night of September 21, Russia launched a massive strike campaign against the Odesa region, with food warehouses coming under fire.
