Russians struck the market in the frontline town with cluster munitions, where there is always a large crowd of people in the morning.

"This is another deliberate war crime and further proof that all Russian statements about a ceasefire are worthless," Filashkin stresses.

The number of killed has risen to 7.

"At least 7 people between the ages of 43 and 81 were killed. 15 people between the ages of 50 and 72 were wounded," he says.

All responsible services are working at the site, providing assistance to the victims and eliminating the consequences of the Russian strike.

In addition, Russia dropped 2 aerial bombs on Druzhkivka. An industrial zone, three high-rise buildings, and three private houses were damaged.

Russian strikes on Druzhkivka

On January 20, the Russian army struck Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy used six guided aerial bombs for the attack.

Before that, Russian troops dropped an aerial bomb on a private house where an entire family was staying. Two people were killed, and three more were injured as a result of the strike.

On December 17, Russian troops attacked State Emergency Service rescuers with an FPV drone in Druzhkivka as they were responding to a fire call. The strike hit a fire truck.

Four State Emergency Service employees were injured in the attack. The victims were taken to the hospital, and the fire truck was damaged.
