Tonight, November 1, Russian forces attacked the Samarskyi District of Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack damaged a store and left casualties and injured individuals, reports Vladyslav Haivanenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

"In the evening, the enemy attacked Samarskyi District. A fire broke out, and a store was destroyed. Preliminary reports indicate there are dead and wounded. Details are being clarified," the message said.

The State Emergency Service confirmed the attack and said firefighters are working to extinguish the fire.

Earlier in the day, Russian FPV drones and artillery targeted Nikopol District, including the district center and the Marhanets, Pokrovska, Myrivska, and Chervonohryhorivka communities.

"Unfortunately, one person was killed. In addition to a woman, a 73-year-old man was injured. He will receive outpatient treatment. Two private houses were damaged. Two vehicles were destroyed, and one more was completely ruined. An abandoned building caught fire," Haivanenko wrote.

He added that Russian drones also struck the Petropavlivka community and the Shakhtarsky area of Synelnykove District, damaging infrastructure.

According to current information, eight people were injured in Samarskyi District following the enemy attack.

All have been hospitalized. Half are in serious condition, while the rest are in moderate condition.

One person was killed in Samarskyi District. A store was destroyed, and seven residential buildings were damaged.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration said a woman was killed in Samarskyi district, raising the death toll to two.

"Unfortunately, tragic news from Samarskyi district. A 50-year-old woman who suffered severe injuries from the Russian attack has died in the hospital. Condolences to her family. In total, the evening enemy strike claimed the lives of two people," he wrote.

Russian attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region

In Pavlohrad, an explosion was heard amid a potential threat of ballistic weapons being used against Ukraine.

On the night of October 30, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the city of Dnipro, damaging one of the city's infrastructure facilities.

Additional damage was reported in other districts of the region.
