Russia strikes Ukraine's Chernihiv region: Man killed, houses destroyed

On the evening of June 21, Russians attacked the Nizhyn district, Chernihiv region. As a result of the Russian drone attack, a man was killed, according to the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.
"The Chernihiv region is under Russian fire. In the evening, Russian drones attacked the Nizhyn district. Unfortunately, one person was killed. It is a civilian man," he says.
He specifies that the Russian attack destroyed and damaged residential buildings, an outbuilding, and a garage in the village.

"Russia always acts cunningly. Once again, it strikes people's homes. Today's strike claimed another life," adds Chaus.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
This evening, Russia is once again attacking Ukraine with drones. In particular, drones have already been spotted from the north.
A little over an hour ago, the mayor of Nizhyn, Oleksandr Kodola, said that 10 explosions were heard on the outskirts of the city. Another one was outside the community, in a neighboring village.
In addition, Ukrainian air defense forces were operating in the Kyiv region due to Russian drone strikes.
