Russia strikes Sumy with MLRS with phosphorus fuses: Numerous fires broke out
On the afternoon of November 26, Russian troops shelled Sumy with Tornado MLRS, preliminarily with phosphorus fuses. As a result of the Russian attack, many fires broke out in the city, according to the deputy head of the Sumy District Council, Volodymyr Bitsak, and the Sumy City Council.
“Russia struck Sumy with, preliminary, it is a large-caliber Tornado MLRS. And, preliminarily, it was filled with a phosphorus fuse. That's why there were massive fires,” says Bitsak.
According to the Sumy City Council, the Russian attack damaged the parking lot where the service station is located, cars, and windows of residential buildings.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
Last night, Russia attacked Ukraine with four Iskander-M missiles from Voronezh and Kursk regions, as well as 188 Shahed drones and unidentified drones from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 76 Russian drones.
96 Russian drones were lost locally, presumably due to active countermeasures by the electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Five more drones flew towards Belarus.
