Russian forces dropped two KAB bombs (guided aerial bombs) on a community in the Sumy region on the morning of January 15. One person was killed as a result of the attack, according to a post by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.

According to Hryhorov, the KAB bombs were dropped on the Bilopillia community. A 35-year-old man who was on the street was killed. Nine civilians were also injured — six women and three men.

"The enemy strike damaged civilian infrastructure. Emergency response operations are underway. All necessary services are working on site. Russian forces deliberately attack civilian targets and critical infrastructure, aiming to destabilize communities and terrorize the peaceful population," Hryhorov added.

The head of the regional military administration urged people not to ignore air raid alerts and to stay in shelters. He also shared photos from the site of the attack.
