Russia strikes Starokostiantyniv with Kinzhal ballistic missiles
In Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region, explosions were heard in the morning on October 7. Russian missiles were launched at the city, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Local Telegram channels report that explosions were heard during the air raid in Khmelnytskyi region.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian MiG-31K fighters launched Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
After the alert was announced, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the takeoff of Russian MiG-31K fighters. Later, it became known that high-speed missiles were moving in the direction of Starokonstiantyniv.
Russian attacks on Starokostiantyniv
Starokonstantyniv, a city in the Khmelnytskyi region, is often targeted by Russian air attacks due to the presence of one of Ukraine's main military airfields.

Russian night attack on Ukraine
On the night of October 6, Russia attempted to attack Kyiv with drones. Like today, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully destroyed all Russian drones detected in the capital's airspace.
On October 7, Russia again attacked Kyiv with drones. During the night, the capital was put on air alert three times, which lasted over 2 hours in total.
