Russian drones approached the capital of Ukraine in waves from various directions. Air raid alarms were declared in the city three times, totaling over five hours, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.

All Russian drones detected in the airspace over Kyiv and its approaches were neutralized, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Preliminary reports indicate that there were no damages or casualties in the city.

Russia launched attacks on Ukraine with Shahed drones starting the evening of October 5. Explosions were heard in Kyiv around 10:30 PM, with another blast occurring around 3:00 AM on Sunday.

Additionally, multiple explosions were reported in Odesa.

On the afternoon of October 5, Russian forces attacked a passenger bus in the Sumy region with a drone. As a result of the attack, three passengers were injured: a 65-year-old man, and two women aged 54 and 63.
