Russian occupying forces attacked a scheduled bus in the Nikopol district for the second time in the day, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
What happened
In the Chervonohryhorivka community, the enemy struck a minibus serving an intercity route. As a result of the attack, the vehicle was damaged.
Casualties
Five people were injured — one woman and four men. Medics are providing the victims with all necessary assistance.
This is already the second attack on a scheduled bus in the region today.
The Nikopol district has been constantly suffering from Russian shelling due to its proximity to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar.
Earlier today, April 7, the Russian army had already struck a bus in Nikopol during rush hour — that attack resulted in fatalities and numerous injuries. This marks the second strike on civilian transport in the region within a single day.
On April 6, the enemy attacked Nikopol, injuring seven people, including a one-and-a-half-year-old child.
A day earlier, on April 5, Russians conducted an information and psychological operation (IPSО), distributing leaflets with threats of an "offensive" and calls to prepare for occupation — the Center for Countering Disinformation called it a hostile provocation.
And on April 4, Russian forces struck a market in Nikopol: there were fatalities and more than 20 people were injured.
