Last night, on January 21, Russians attacked a residential sector of Sumy with a Shahed drone. As a result, over a dozen private residential buildings were damaged, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of the Russian attack, 3 people suffered minor injuries and an acute stress reaction. They were provided with medical care without hospitalization.

“The top floor of a two-story private residential building was partially destroyed, and a fire broke out. Rescuers extinguished the fire and inspected the area,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs writes and adds that 13 private houses were preliminarily damaged.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers have regularly shelled Ukrainian territory, which poses a serious threat to civilians. Russia uses artillery, drones, missiles of various types, and guided aerial bombs to attack. On the night of January 21, Russians launched four Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 131 drones. At the same time, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 72 drones.
