On the afternoon of April 2, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with drones. A Shahed drone struck near a high-rise residential building; there are casualties, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"Another Russian drone strike on the Kyivskyi district has been recorded today," Terekhov writes.

Later, the mayor reported a Shahed strike near a high-rise residential building.

According to him, there are reports of casualties resulting from the Russian strike.

In addition, the Russians are currently continuing to attack the Kyivskyi district of the city with drones.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, clarified that a fire broke out in a multi-unit residential building as a result of the Russian attack on the Kyivskyi district.

All emergency services are working at the scene.

A 61-year-old woman was injured in the Russian strike. Medical personnel are providing her with all necessary assistance.

Russian strikes on Kharkiv

Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with strike drones last night and this morning, April 2, causing fires.

Several cars caught fire as a result of one of the Russian strikes. Most of the strikes hit the Kyivskyi district of the city.

In total, from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m., Kyiv time, the Russians carried out 6 strikes on Kharkiv.
