Russia strikes railway station in Kharkiv region: Conductor injured
Russian troops shelled a railway station in the Kharkiv region. A conductor was injured, and changes were made to train traffic, according to Ukrainian Railways.
Thus, on the night of August 1, the Russians launched a missile attack on one of the railway stations in the Kharkiv region.

“As a result of the Russian attack, the conductor received shrapnel wounds to the head. She received first aid and refused hospitalization,” the statement says.
Damage and changes in train traffic
According to Ukrainian Railways, two locomotives, freight and passenger cars were damaged. There is also damage to tracks and power supply facilities.
The schedules of suburban trains have been changed on a spot basis, and long-distance trains continue to run using backup diesel locomotives.

Russian troops are constantly attacking Ukrainian Railways facilities.
In May, the Russian occupiers attacked the railway infrastructure in the Kharkiv region. Six railroad workers were injured as a result.
And in April, a Ukrainian Railways employee was killed during the shelling of Dnipro on April 19. Seven other railroaders were injured.
