On September 27, Russia attacked the police department in Kryvyi Rih. There are victims, people may be trapped under the rubble, according to the National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the head of the city's Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul, and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak.

“At about 9:15 a.m., Russia launched a rocket attack on the district police department, and there were victims. There may be people under the rubble,” the National Police of Ukraine says in a statement.

Russian strike destroyed the administrative building and damaged private houses located nearby. Police and rescuers are currently working at the scene.

Russian precision strike

According to Vilkul, there was a precision Russian strike on the police department.

“The search and rescue operation is ongoing. The victims will be treated later. But some are already on the operating table,” he states.

3 injured and destroyed police building

According to the State Emergency Service, the Russian attack partially destroyed the five-story building of the Kryvyi Rih District Department of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

“As of 10:20 a.m., 3 people were injured. There are probably people under the rubble,” the rescuers say.

4 injured, search for people under rubble continues

Around 11 a.m. in Kryvyi Rih, the number of victims increased to four. The victims are men, and two of them are hospitalized in moderate condition.

“The fate of 4 people is currently unknown. The search and rescue operation is ongoing,” said Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

At 9:17 a.m., an air alert was declared in Kyiv and many regions, including the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian military warned of a Russian ballistic missile threat.

Later, explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih. The city reported a Russian strike. Later it turned out that the Russians struck Kryvyi Rih with rockets. An administrative building in Kryvyi Rih came under Russian fire, and there may be people under the rubble.
