Russia strikes mobile post office in Sumy region, injuring 2 workers

Russian forces attacked a mobile branch of Ukrposhta (Ukrainian Post - ed.) in the Sumy region with a drone. Two employees were injured in the strike, according to Ihor Smilianskyi, CEO of JSC Ukrposhta.
"Russia continues to target our mobile Ukrposhta branches, which deliver pensions, medications, packages, and food to Ukrainians. Yesterday, another such drone attack took place in the Sumy region," the message reads.
Smilianskyi states that two employees sustained severe injuries in the Russian attack. Medical personnel in Sumy and Trostianets fought all night to save their lives.
According to the CEO of Ukrposhta, doctors are offering a cautiously optimistic prognosis regarding the condition of the victims.

"We hope for our colleagues' speedy recovery and wish them just that!" Smilianskyi says.
At the same time, Ukrposhta states that it is continuing to operate despite the attacks and is strengthening security measures for employees of its mobile branches.
Russian troops have repeatedly attacked Ukrposhta facilities and vehicles in frontline areas. On August 29, a Russian drone struck a company vehicle near Kramatorsk.
In addition, on August 25, Russian troops struck a Ukrposhta branch and its vehicles twice in Meni, Chernihiv region.
