In the Lviv region, as a result of a Russian air attack last night, on September 6, a fire broke out in warehouses near the village of Malekhiv. This was caused by the fall of fragments of a Russian kamikaze drone, according to Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi.

The Lviv mayor notes that no data on possible casualties have been received so far.

"After the wreckage of the Shahed fell, a fire broke out near the Lviv community. Warehouses are burning near Malekhiv," he writes.

State Emergency Service is working at the scene.

"There is no information about the victims yet. This time, everything is calm in our community. Once again, we thank the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces," says the mayor of Lviv.

Malekhiv village (part of the Lviv city community) is located 5 km from the center of Lviv on the M 06 motorway.

In addition, an explosion was heard in the area of Chernihiv. The leadership of the Chernihiv City Military Administration claimed that air defense systems were operating in the region.

Later, the Lviv Regional Military Administration announced the operation of air defense in the region due to the presence of the Shahed in the region.
