Russia strikes Kyiv with drones overnight: Casualties reported

On June 16, a Russian nighttime drone attack on Kyiv resulted in injuries and damage to private homes and commercial pavilions. The wreckage of the downed drones landed in several districts of the capital, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
A Russian attack drone crashed in the middle of the private sector in Rusanivski gardens in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv. A large crater was created at the crash site, but significant damage and casualties were avoided.

"As of this morning, we know about one victim. A young man born in 2004 was hospitalized in a severe condition in one of the capital's hospitals. Our doctors are the best and will do everything possible to save the young man," Tkachenko wrote.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko added that 2 people were injured in the Russian night attack: one of them remains in hospital, and a woman who was also hospitalized at night is currently undergoing outpatient treatment.
