Russia attacks Zaporizhzhia with drones, fire breaks out at industrial site

On the night of June 16, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out at a local enterprise, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"Due to the attack, a fire broke out at one of Zaporizhzhia’s industrial enterprises. Emergency services are working at the scene," the statement said.
Fedorov clarified that, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
Zaporizhzhia under fire
Russian forces regularly attack Zaporizhzhia with drones and sometimes with cruise and ballistic missiles. Damage is reported in the city almost daily.
On the night of June 14, Russian forces launched 14 Shahed drones at the city. Two police officers were injured in the attack.
The strike also caused a fire at a humanitarian warehouse, damaged cars, a store, and a public transport stop. Windows were shattered in residential buildings by the blast wave.
Later reports estimated the losses from the strike on the humanitarian warehouse at $3 million.
