Russia strikes Kyiv with drone: Consequences revealed

Russian troops attacked Kyiv with a strike drone this morning, August 23. According to preliminary data, the Russian drone crashed in the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"According to preliminary information, a Russian drone fell on a road in the Solomyanskyi district. There is no fire. Emergency services are heading to the scene," Klitschko says.
Earlier, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv due to the threat of a kamikaze drone, and the air defense forces were also reported to be operating in Kyiv.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched 49 drones of various types at Ukraine on the night of August 23. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 36 drones in the north, east, and center of the country.
At the same time, 13 drones were recorded hitting 7 locations in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions.
