Russia strikes Kyiv region: Power grids and houses damaged
On the night of January 22, air defense was operating in the Kyiv region to target Russian drones. There is damage as a result of the falling Russian drone debris, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, and the Kyiv Regional Police.
According to Mykola Kalashnyk, acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Russian targets were shot down in the Kyiv region at night. No hits to critical and residential infrastructure were recorded. There were no casualties.
However, the falling Russian drone debris in one of the settlements partially destroyed a house and damaged four more. Windows were smashed, facades were cut, and roofs were damaged.
In another settlement, a power line was damaged. The damage has been repaired.
Russian night attack on Ukraine
On the night of January 22, the Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine with attack drones. The movement of drones was recorded in many regions of Ukraine, and air defense was activated.
The Russians attacked Mykolaiv with drones on the evening of January 21. Russian attack partially destroyed the attic floor of an apartment building. The blast wave also damaged other houses and buildings.
2 people were injured in the Russian attack. Among them is a 74-year-old woman who was hospitalized.
Also last night, the Russian occupiers shelled Sumy with Shahed. Some houses were damaged there.
