On the night of Tuesday, April 29, the Russian army attacked Kyiv and the region with 11 Shahed-type attack drones, the Kyiv City Military Administration says.

Over the past day, an air alert in Kyiv was announced three times because of the threat of Russian ballistic missile use and the threat of Russian drone strikes.

"As a result of a nighttime Russian drone attack, 11 Russian drones were spotted in the vicinity of Kyiv and the capital's airspace. Of these, 9 were destroyed by air defense systems, 2 were lost by radar," the statement said.

No damage to critical infrastructure was reported. However, in Kyiv, as a result of the fall of the wreckage of one of the downed drones, a fire was reported on the territory of a recreation center in the Desnianskyi district. There is destruction, damage to buildings, and cars. Rescuers continue to work at the scene.

"Three people have sought medical assistance on the spot, without hospitalization. We wish the victims a speedy full recovery," the administration said.
