Russia strikes Kupiansk and Vilkhuvatka in Kharkiv region, civilian casualties reported

Russian troops attacked Kupiansk district in the Kharkiv region again. The enemy dropped four guided aerial bombs on the village of Vilkhuvatka and struck Kupiansk itself with artillery, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reports.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv region, pre-trial investigations have been launched into the facts of war crimes committed.
According to the investigation, on June 29 around 10:00 a.m., the Russian Armed Forces carried out a series of air strikes on the village of Vilkhuvatka in the Kupiansk district. The enemy dropped four guided aerial bombs on the settlement. Private houses were damaged.
Also today at 1:30 p.m., the Russian army carried out an artillery shelling of a residential neighborhood in Kupiansk.
"A 54-year-old man was killed. Another man, aged 32, was wounded: he was hospitalized in serious condition," the Prosecutor's Office added.
Meanwhile, prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and proper measures to document war crimes committed by Russian military personnel.
Shellings of Ukraine on June 29
On the night of June 29, Russian troops again carried out a massive attack, firing 537 aerial targets at Ukraine, including 477 drones and 60 missiles.
The Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv, came under enemy fire. Damage to residential buildings and critical infrastructure was recorded.
In addition, during the repulsion of Russian attack, Ukrainian F-16 pilot Maksym Ustymenko was killed. He shot down seven enemy targets and managed to take his damaged aircraft away from populated areas but was unable to eject.

Already during the day, enemy drones attacked the Sumy region. The Lebedyn and Konotop communities were hit.
Moreover, Russian troops have also attacked Kherson. As a result of enemy fire, one man was killed and another was wounded.
