Russia strikes Kherson with aerial bombs: Casualties increased, people under rubble

In Kherson, the number of victims of the night attack by Russia's guided aerial bombs has increased to 6. People may be trapped under the rubble, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, and Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration.
Last night, the entire city of Kherson shuddered as a Russian guided aerial bomb struck a ten-story building.
“Russian strike destroyed 15 apartments - from the 1st to the 10th floor of one of the entrances. In addition, windows were smashed in 80 apartments,” said the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Casualties
So far, 6 people have been injured in the Russian attack. 2 of them were rescued by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine from the 8th and 9th floors of the destroyed building.
“There are twins in the hospital - a boy and a girl, 14 years old. Doctors assess their condition as satisfactory,” adds Prokudin.
In addition, a 47-year-old man was hospitalized who was in the room of the parking lot attendant near the place of the Russian strike. He received a shrapnel wound and a broken leg bone.
3 other men were treated by paramedics on the spot. The victims sustained contusions. One of the Kherson residents was also diagnosed with a head injury.
Prokudin also said that the operational headquarters of the Kherson Regional Military Administration was deployed at the site of the Russian attack. According to him, there may still be people under the rubble.
Damaged lyceum
The head of the Kherson City Military Administration said that a vocational school in the city's central district was damaged as a result of nighttime Russian strikes.
According to him, this is the second time this educational institution has suffered from Russian strikes. The four-story building was left almost without windows. However, the staff of the institution was not injured.
Rescue operations
Rescuers are working at the crash site. The SESU reported that the emergency workers are inspecting the damaged floors and dismantling the rubble.

Late in the evening, on February 19, the Russian occupiers attacked Kherson from the air. The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, informed that Russia launched 3 guided aerial bombs at the city, one of which hit an apartment building in the Central district.
