Russia strikes Kharkiv for second time in one night, using guided aerial bombs
The city of Kharkiv was once again attacked by Russian forces, marking the second strike of the night. The enemy used guided air bombs for these attacks, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
An explosion occurred in the Kharkiv area around 04:50, during an air raid alert that had been issued in the region.
According to the mayor, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with three guided air bombs.
“There was another attack on the city. This time, preliminarily, three guided air bombs,” he stated.
Additionally, the Kharkiv mayor warned residents of the city about the possibility of further enemy strikes and urged them to remain cautious.
Later, the Kharkiv mayor reported that one of the impacts was recorded between a school and a kindergarten in the Industrial District of the city.
“As of now, there is no information about casualties. The details of other locations hit by the enemy’s guided air bombs are being clarified,” he added.
Strikes on Kharkiv
On September 19, around midnight, explosions were heard in Kharkiv during an air raid alert. Before this, Russian forces were reported to have launched rockets.
Later, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that strikes were recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi District of the city. The mayor informed that a fire broke out at the impact site, and the strikes hit a wooded area in the Shevchenkivskyi District.
According to the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office, the missile attack, likely using ballistic missiles, destroyed two private homes and caused a significant fire.
