Russia strikes Kharkiv city center with drone: Building on fire

On the night of May 6, Russian forces launched a drone attack on the central district of Kharkiv. As a result of the strike, a private house caught fire, according to the Telegram channel of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"The enemy launched a Shahed-type UAV strike on the central, densely populated area of the city. As a result of the drone attack, a private house is on fire," the message reads.
Terekhov added that information regarding possible casualties is being clarified.
Shelling of Kharkiv
Recently, the Russian forces have intensified their shelling of Kharkiv. The enemy frequently uses strike drones for attacks, resulting in significant damage to civilian infrastructure. Specifically, residential buildings, educational institutions, industries, and many other structures have come under fire.
For instance, late in the evening on May 2, at least 17 explosions were recorded in the city. Several districts were affected, and the number of injured reached 51 people. Among the wounded, two were children.
