Russia strikes high-rise apartment building in Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi

Khmelnytskyi came under a massive Russian Shahed drone attack last night, according to Serhii Tiuryn, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration.
Russia launched drone strikes on the Khmelnytskyi region all night long. Among them were jet-powered drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
"Air defense forces were engaged. Some drones were shot down," he says.
Tiuryn promises to provide details on the shoot-downs later.
"As a result of the Russian attack, we know that a high-rise residential building in the regional center was hit. All necessary emergency services have been dispatched to the scene," he adds.
Khmelnytskyi Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn also comments on the situation.
"As a result of the Russian attack, a multi-unit residential building has been damaged. Windows have been shattered, balconies have been damaged, and cars have also been damaged," he adds.

Drones attacked the Khmelnytskyi region and western Ukraine throughout the night. Air raid alerts were issued repeatedly in the area, and the Ukrainian Air Force warned of Russian drones in the area.
Last night, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region. Russia struck the capital with ballistic and anti-ship missiles and deployed drones.
In Odesa, the Russian Shahed drone attack shattered windows at a medical facility and a school, as well as in 10 residential buildings.
