Russia strikes Fora supermarket in Kyiv region, causing major damage

Russian forces struck a Fora supermarket in Ivankovychi, Kyiv region, on September 30, according to the company’s press service.
"Our Fora store in Ivankovychi was affected by the enemy attack on the Kyiv region today. The store sustained significant damage and is currently unable to serve customers. But most importantly, everyone is alive," the statement said.
The company thanked rescuers and all emergency services involved in dealing with the aftermath of the enemy attack.
"Our other stores remain open. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones," Fora said.

Earlier, a drone strike hit a supermarket in Kyiv’s Obukhivskyi district. The attack caused a fire.
A woman was injured in the attack and received the necessary medical assistance. She suffered an acute stress reaction and a hypertensive crisis.
The State Emergency Service said firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, which covered an area of 250 square meters.
It was also reported that Russia launched a combined attack on the Kyiv region overnight. Residential buildings were damaged and destroyed. One person was killed and others were injured.
In addition, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones and ballistic missiles overnight. The strikes caused power outages in the capital and fires at private houses, a warehouse and a store. There were also casualties.
