Russia strikes Donetsk region for second time in a day, killing two

According to him, at around 5 PM Kyiv time, Russian aviation hit the city with four FAB-250 bombs and a UMPK module.

As a result of the bombardment, two people were killed, and one person was injured. The following were damaged:

• 11 private homes;

• 4 power lines.

"State Emergency Service of Ukraine and paramedics are conducting an inspection of the site and carrying out rescue operations to free the trapped victims, which are complicated by the arrival of an FPV drone," he added.

Russia's strikes on Kostiantynivka

Earlier today, Russian forces carried out 10 airstrikes on Kostiantynivka, damaging important infrastructure, including DTEK’s power grid. During that attack, one person was injured.

Notably, Russian forces continue to shell settlements in the Donetsk region almost daily. Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian forces have been attacking with various types of weaponry, destroying homes and claiming lives.

In particular, on March 13, the Russians struck Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk. The attack injured eight people, including a teenager.

That day, Russian forces struck Kostiantynivka with the Smerch multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), injuring two people.
