Russia strikes Cherkasy region with drones and missiles: Casualties reported

During a Russian nighttime combined attack, 17 drones were shot down in the sky over the Cherkasy region. 2 people were injured in the attack, according to the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 17 Russian drones. However, people suffered as a result of the Russian attacks. According to the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, 2 men were injured.
"In Cherkasy district, 2 men were injured by shrapnel. They were taken to the hospital. Both are in moderate condition," noted Taburets.
The regional authorities are inspecting the area for property damage. So far, there have been no calls for help from residents.
Russian attack on Cherkasy
On February 10, at 11:47 p.m. Kyiv time, an air alert was declared throughout the Cherkasy region. Ukrainian Air Force warned of a Russian missile threat.
At 6:20 a.m. Kyiv time, emergency power outages were introduced in Cherkasy region due to a massive missile attack. This was reported by Cherkasyoblenergo.
At 08:12, a.m. Kyiv time, an air raid alert was announced in Cherkasy and Zolotonosha districts. The air raid was canceled at 8:46 a.m. Kyiv time. However, the emergency blackouts were canceled only at 10:20 a.m. Kyiv time.
Russian troops also attacked the Poltava region on the night of February 11. Naftogaz's production facilities were damaged.
