Russian forces continue to refine their use of strike drones and are changing tactics for air attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, reports Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba.

According to him, Ukraine is entering the winter period under constant attacks from Russian troops. Daily strikes target power plants, substations, and gas and water facilities.

Recently, Russia has focused on transportation infrastructure, particularly railway lines.

"Despite this, over the past year, the volume of work to strengthen the protection of critical facilities has exceeded the results of all previous years. Work has been carried out at 22 facilities," Kuleba said.

Kuleba said Russia deploys up to 15 Shahed drones daily, each carrying around 90 kilograms of explosives. The drones repeatedly target the same facilities in a coordinated and precise manner.

"The goal of Russia is to destabilize the situation inside the country, sow panic, and create the image of an internal enemy. They will do everything to leave us without electricity, water, and heating. Winter will be difficult, and we must prepare for it," Kuleba stressed.

Earlier today, the Ukrainian government established a Center for Coordination of Engineering Protection of Critical Infrastructure and approved a series of measures to accelerate the protection of critical facilities.
