Russia shells Poltava region on April 8, children among victims
In Poltava region, number of victims increased due to the Russian attacks on April 8. 16 people have been reported injured, according to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin.
According to him, among the injured are four children aged 5 to 11 years old. Several people continue to receive treatment in medical facilities. One of the injured is in critical condition, and several others are in a moderate condition.
Overall, due to the Russian attack, 9,000 consumers and 120 corporate subscribers were left without power. Power engineers have already restored electricity supply, except for the building that was damaged.
Russian attack on Poltava region
Explosions were heard in the Poltava community on the evening of April 8. Air raid sirens were sounded in the region due to the threat of a missile attack by Russians.
Later, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin, said that Russian troops had hit a residential building. According to him, the roof of the building was partially destroyed, and a fire broke out. Several neighboring buildings were damaged as well.
Last night, the enemy attacked a high-voltage substation in Poltava region. A fire broke out, no one was injured, but the equipment was damaged.
