Russia sets up new drone launch platform near Ukraine - OSINT

Russian forces have constructed a new launch site for Shahed attack drones, located just 35 km from the Ukraine-Russia state border, according to OSINT analyst Brady Africk.
The photo shows storage facilities and launch rails from which the attack drones are deployed.

In March 2025, Russia commissioned three more new drone launch sites targeting Ukraine. All launch locations are in the Prymorsko-Akhtarsk area, supplementing seven already operational sites.
UK intelligence did not rule out the possibility that the number of attack drone launch sites targeting Ukraine could increase.
