The director of Russian intelligence has revealed for the first time what he discussed with the CIA director in Moscow, reports TASS.
Sergey Naryshkin, director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, confirmed that he met with the CIA director in Moscow.
According to him, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues falling within the purview of intelligence agencies.
Naryshkin also described such contacts as routine. “Meetings between intelligence agencies of different countries are standard practice,” he noted.
CIA director John Ratcliffe made a secret visit to Moscow this week. The Kremlin later disclosed details of Ratcliffe’s talks with Russian intelligence agencies.
