Russia continues to suffer heavy losses in personnel and military equipment as its war against Ukraine enters another day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have released the latest figures, detailing Russia’s losses in troops and military equipment over the past 24 hours.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to September 26, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel ‒ nearly 1,527,280 (+1,710)
- Tanks ‒ 12,376 (+7)
- Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25,435 (+20)
- Special equipment ‒ 4,749 (+8)
- Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 153,728 (+576)
- Unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 2,748 (+12)
- Artillery systems ‒ 50,371 (+96)
- MLRS ‒ 2,160 (+3)

Frontline situation
Ukraine's Defense Forces struck two Russian oil refineries and enemy radar stations in recent attacks. The targets were the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery and the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery.
Moreover, Ukrainian forces are seeing positive results from counteroffensive operations in the Donetsk region. There is progress in the Lyman direction and beyond.
