Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues to come at a high cost for its military, with new personnel and equipment losses reported every day. Below are the latest figures from Ukraine's military, including Russia's losses in troops, tanks, artillery, drones, and other weapons and equipment.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to September 3, 2026, are estimated to be:

Frontline situation
Over the past day, Russian troops attempted to break through and advance in various sectors of the front.
But the Defense Forces of Ukraine stopped the enemy in time, reports the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Moreover, some Russian military bloggers acknowledged the advance of Ukrainian troops and their tactically important successes.
Meanwhile, in the absence of significant successes at the frontline, the enemy continues to terrorize Kyiv with advanced drones for over a week now.
In the recent attacks, drones damaged a university building and continue to paralyze the capital due to constant air raid alerts.
