As of September 29, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated data on enemy losses: the numbers continue to rise, reflecting the intensity of fighting in all directions.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to September 29, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - approximately 1,109,590 (+1,080) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • Tanks - 11,218 (+7);
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,290;
  • Artillery systems - 33,284 (+53);
  • MLRS - 1,504 (+1);
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,224 (+1);
  • Aircraft - 427;
  • Helicopters - 345;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 65,002 (+617);
  • Cruise missiles - 3,790 (+43);
  • Warships/boats - 28;
  • Submarines - 1;
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 63,151 (+111);
  • Special equipment - 3,979 (+2).

As of 10:00 p.m. on September 28, there were 109 combat clashes along the frontline, with the highest enemy activity recorded in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy carried out one missile strike and 58 airstrikes, launched 50 missiles, and dropped 108 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the occupiers deployed 2,706 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,391 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

It should be noted that civilians cannot enter Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, due to security measures, while counter-sabotage operations to detect enemy forces are ongoing in the city.
