According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, Russia lost about 910 soldiers and various equipment, including armored personnel carriers and drones. These figures confirm the effectiveness of the defensive and counteroffensive actions of Ukrainian units.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to September 10, 2025, are estimated to be:

Over the past day, September 9, 152 combat clashes were recorded on the front line. Ukrainian defenders continue to repel Russian attempts to advance into Ukrainian territory. Russian invaders launched one missile and 59 air strikes, using two missiles and 72 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russia actively used 1,977 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,416 shellings of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and populated areas.
