Ukrainian forces eliminated another 1,400 occupiers over the past 24 hours. Additionally, they managed to destroy 61 artillery systems and 40 armored combat vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to September 24, 2024, are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: around 645,150 (+1,400)
  • Tanks: 8,800 (+16)
  • Troop-carrying AFVs: 17,292 (+40)
  • Artillery systems: 18,475 (+61)
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 1,198 (+1)
  • Anti-aircraft systems: 952 (+3)
  • Aircraft: 369 (+0)
  • Helicopters: 328 (+0)
  • UAVs operational-tactical level: 15,764 (+65)
  • Cruise missiles: 2,595 (+0)
  • Warships/boats: 28 (+0)
  • Submarines: 1 (+0)
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 25,175 (+73)
  • Special equipment: 3,155 (+10)

Russian losses in war

The Russian army continues to suffer massive losses as a result of its terrorist war against Ukrainians.

Since the start of the offensive in the Kharkiv region, Russia has lost more than 16,000 servicemen. Additionally, several hundred armored vehicles have been destroyed in this area by the Defense Forces.

Moreover, recent reports from British intelligence estimate that Russian losses since the start of the invasion amount to over 610,000 killed and wounded.

At the same time, The Wall Street Journal estimated Russian losses at around 200,000 killed and 400,000 wounded.
