Frontline situation

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck key Russian defense and industrial facilities overnight on October 24, including the Tolyattikauchuk plant, Proton-Elektroteks in Oryol, and an aircraft at Yeysk airfield. Damage to Proton-Elektroteks is expected to disrupt production of components for cruise and ballistic missiles used in attacks on Ukrainian cities.

Meanwhile, Russia launched 126 strike drones at Ukraine overnight on October 24, including 61 jet-powered Shaheds. Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed 101 drones, including 50 jet-powered ones, but some strikes reached their targets.
