Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and as of October 24, 2025, the Russian army continues to suffer significant losses in personnel and equipment, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

From February 24, 2022, to October 24, 2025, the total estimated losses of Russian forces amounted to:

  • Personnel – about 1,135,080 (+910)
  • Tanks – 11,283 (+1)
  • Armored combat vehicles – 23,458 (+5)
  • Artillery systems – 33,972 (+34)
  • MLRS – 1,526 (+1)
  • Air defense systems – 1,230
  • Aircraft – 428
  • Helicopters – 346
  • Operational-tactical level UAVs – 73,826 (+440)
  • Cruise missiles – 3,880
  • Ships/boats – 28
  • Submarines – 1
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks – 65,356 (+128)
  • Special equipment – 3,981

Moscow intends to unite graduates of African universities who studied in Russia on a dedicated online platform. Through this platform, their participation in projects promoting the Russian language and strengthening Russia’s positive image in African countries is planned to be coordinated.

In the occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russian administrations are installing satellite systems while dismantling Ukrainian equipment. This gradually deprives residents of access to independent sources of information, replacing Ukrainian broadcasts exclusively with Russian television channels.
