Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 16: +1,100 troops and +3 tanks

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost another 1,140 soldiers, along with a significant amount of equipment, according to a report from the Ukrainian General Staff.
Among the enemy’s heaviest losses are artillery and vehicles, highlighting the continued effectiveness of Ukrainian strike drones and artillery units.
Daily losses of the Russian army:
- Personnel – +1,140;
- Tanks – +3;
- Artillery systems – +21;
- MLRS – +2;
- Vehicles and fuel tanks – +109;
- UAV operational-tactical level – +232;
- Special equipment – +1.
Thus, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the enemy’s total losses have reached 1,127,300 personnel.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces have also lost 1,520 MLRS and 1,227 anti-aircraft systems.
Total combat losses of the enemy include 427 aircraft, 346 helicopters, and 70,437 UAVs operational-tactical level, while Ukrainian air defense has destroyed 3,841 cruise missiles.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 28 Russian ships, 64,468 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 3,977 pieces of special equipment.
The Pokrovsk direction became the epicenter of fighting over the past 24 hours. The enemy launched 42 attacks there, 38 of which were successfully repelled, while two engagements are still ongoing.
Preliminary reports indicate that the invaders lost 138 soldiers, 4 pieces of equipment were destroyed, 3 UAVs were shot down, and enemy artillery systems and fortifications were hit.
Overall, 154 combat clashes were recorded along the front in the past day.
Additionally, the enemy carried out 1 missile strike and 58 airstrikes, dropped 106 guided bombs, deployed 2,211 kamikaze drones, and conducted 3,676 artillery strikes on Defense Forces positions and Ukrainian settlements.
