Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 3: +970 troops and +273 drones

Between October 1 and 2, there were 158 combat engagements along the frontline. The Pokrovsk direction remains the most intense, with Ukrainian forces repelling 45 attacks by Russian units.

Russian forces are expected to continue concentrating their efforts mainly on two strategic axes – Pokrovsk and Dobropillia, where intensified shelling and attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses are anticipated. Analysts note that these directions were chosen for their tactical significance: control over them enables sustained pressure on neighboring areas and poses a threat to Ukrainian communication lines.
