Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 15: +1,210 troops and 44 troop-carrying AFVs

The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1,210 Russian invaders over the day. Thus, the total Russian losses in personnel have already exceeded 671,000 soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to October 15, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 671400 (+1210) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 8988 (+13);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 17939 (+44);
- artillery systems - 19430 (+9);
- MLRS - 1231;
- anti-aircraft systems - 978;
- airplanes - 369;
- helicopters - 329;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 17019 (+10);
- cruise missiles - 2620 (+1);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 26654 (+32);
- special equipment - 3441 (+4).
Since the beginning of the day, October 14, 189 combat engagements occurred at the front. Three areas were the hottest: Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, and Lyman.
