Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 12: Nearly 1,300 troops, over 100 UAVs

Over the last day, from October 11 to October 12, Russians lost 1,290 soldiers, 59 artillery systems, and 115 vehicles at the front, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 22 to October 12, 24 are as follows:
- Personnel - about 667,630 (+1290);
- Tanks - 8962 (+9);
- Troop-carrying AFVs - 17,827 (+27);
- Artillery systems - 19,381 (+59);
- MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems) - 1230 (+1);
- Anti-aircraft systems - 976;
- Aircraft - 369;
- Helicopters - 329;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 16,947 (+110);
- Cruise missiles - 2619;
- Warships/boats - 28;
- Submarines - 1;
- Vehicles and fuel tanks - 26,513 (+115);
- Special equipment - 3,434 (+38) units.
Situation at the front and shelling
According to ISW, the Defense Forces advanced southeast of Pokrovsk, and the Russians increased pressure on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.
At night, the Russian military shelled Zaporizhzhia from the air. There are wounded and large-scale destruction of civilian infrastructure.
Meanwhile, a powerful explosion occurred at night in the city of Kurchatov, Kursk region of Russia, due to air defense work on a drone.
