Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 10: +1,080 troops, 41 artillery systems, 49 drones

On October 9, the Russians lost 1,080 soldiers in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 665,200 soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to October 10, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 665,200 (+1080) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 8,945 (+1);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 17,765 (+14);
- artillery systems - 19,263 (+41);
- MLRS - 1,225 (+2);
- anti-aircraft systems - 976 (+3);
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 328;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 16,767 (+49);
- cruise missiles - 2,619 (+1);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 26,314 (+74);
- special equipment - 3,386 (+1).
According to The Telegraph, in September, Russia suffered the largest losses at the front since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Average losses per day exceeded a thousand soldiers.
