Situation on the front
In addition to the difficult situation in the Pokrovsk direction, where most of the fighting takes place, the focus has shifted to the Huliaipole direction. Russian troops are intensifying their combat operations there, using thousands of drones against the Armed Forces of Ukraine every day and carrying out dozens of assaults.
"The situation in the south of Ukraine, particularly in the Huliaipole direction, is currently indeed tense. The enemy is conducting active assault operations, increasing the number of artillery strikes and the use of kamikaze drones," the General Staff said yesterday.
However, the Ukrainian defenders are holding their ground, with communication and logistics in place and support being provided. Every day, they destroy 250-300 Russian troops and more than 50 pieces of weaponry and military equipment.
