Russia's losses in Ukraine as of November 22: +1,170 troops and 74 vehicles

As of November 22, Russia lost 1,170 soldiers on the front lines in a single day. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed over 200 Russian drones and a large amount of equipment, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to November 22, 2025, are estimated to be:

- Artillery systems - 34,559 (+9) units.
- MLRS - 1,547 (+1) units.

Situation on the front
According to the latest report from Ukraine's General Staff, as of the evening of November 21, there were 234 combat clashes on the front. The Pokrovsk direction was again the most tense. The Kostiantynivka and Oleksandrivka directions also remain difficult.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine refuted statements by Vladimir Putin about the alleged encirclement of 15 battalions in Kupiansk and statements by Russian General Valery Gerasimov about the occupation of a city in the Kharkiv region.
As for Pokrovsk, which is also a Russian target during the autumn and winter period, fierce battles are being fought for the city.
